According to AI searches the port taxes are refunded for the no-show, but not the fare.
It is recommended that you do not alert the cruise line they will be no show ahead of time to avoid cabin reassignments.
Just show up without them.
There is no clear answer on what it does for their loyalty levels, but stands to reason they wouldn’t accumulate those days.

I think she’s looking at the opposite offer of a discounted hotel room after getting off a cruise. So no one is checking on those guests like a cruise.

Where are you seeing this offer? I have only seen the offer that if you go on a cruise. You can get up to 35% off at Disney world resorts.
