Took the friendship boat over to the Swan for Sushi @ Kimonos. DD loves Sushi (I do not, but we sacrifice for our children) She loved it and that’s what counts. I tried it, it’s ok but I’m a meat and potatoes kind of guy.

Then we strolled around the Swalphin, then the boardwalk, then hopped on the skyliner back to AoA. Gonna finish the night off with our Amorettes take home from yesterday. Mickey Mousse for me and Creme brulee for DD.

Tomorrow we switch to CSR for the remainder of the trip. No plans officially. But hoping for pool/hottub time, early dinner at 3 bridges, and maybe a beverage @ Dahlias in the evening.

That all looks AMAZING!!

Can’t wait for your report from Dahlia. That is a super special place. Loved it last January and hope to get back up there one day

I’ve never eaten there. Looking forward to it though.

Any recommendations?? I don’t drink alcohol (well, rarely ever). DD is a wine drinker. Was contemplating just catching views outing the balcony. But open to recommendations.

Late start today. DD has a zoom interview for a potential job from 10am-10:45 so I’ve just been exploring AoA and capturing video and pics for a potential relaxing stroll video.

Their menu is different than when I was there. I would 100% recommend the meatballs but I don’t see them on the list.

The views are spectacular and the atmosphere is intoxicating - with or without a drink

Ok one last walk around hourglass lake (so peaceful) to gather some more photos and video. Back to the room to see how DD made out, grab our stuff and Uber over to CSR.

Makes me feel old to think I’ve had all those things haha… Transistor radio, duncan yoyo, 8-tracks, 45’s, rubik’s cube, I even had a bowling pin trophy and a jukebox. Yikes!!

For as many times as I’ve stayed at Pop, I don’t remember that Goofy with the sports car. Where is that?

Have you considered going to wine bar George while you’re there? DD may like it.

I have not but that is an excellent idea for our departure day. Thanks so much

Some snacks from Siesta bar at the pool. Nachos and firecracker shrimp. Very good.

Funny thing is they weren’t gonna let me back into the pool area to eat because they are currently closed for capacity. Told them I had a table and just came out to pick up my food. No issues for me getting back in but they are turning people away. And to be honest there’s not that many people here. Don’t get me wrong it’s not empty but there’s lots of chairs open with people who have just put towels on them and left.

That’ll do.
