Took the bus to MK, monorail to GF. Lavender fog acquired, fireworks viewed, bus back to MK, waiting on next bus to AKL.

Weird thing about the club level Savannah viewing is this is the fewest animals I’ve seen in all my AKL stays and I usually just get a resort partial view. Maybe because we are so close to the overlook and the animals like to stay away from action?? I still haven’t seen a giraffe and we have spent more time in the room than any other time I’ve been here! At night literally no animals have been seen. I used to sit on my balcony at night and point out 5 animals from a resort view that has a partial Savannah. Weird.

Mainly reporting for people who might splurge mostly for a view. I don’t think it’s worth it. I did the upgrade to guarantee a good Savannah view and to always have food available easily. My dad doesn’t eat big meals. He grazes. But the offerings are still pretty sparse plus they end the dinner exactly at 7! That’s very early in my opinion. Not complaining. I’m glad I did club and all the little extras have been nice. It feels more like what Disney used to be. (Though I do think club level should get included magic bands and mears from the airport. I mean come on).

That’s unfortunate!
Go adventuring and check out all of the public overlook spaces - some are even porches with rockers. It’s not the same as viewing from your room for sure. But you gotta see a giraffe!
But to share my own experiences, I think I see the fewest animals on that particular savanna.

I think I just read somewhere either here or chat where they didn’t have animals. They found out there was work being done, so the animals were on a different Savannah.

That is something Disney should tell people when they book a room but we have seen animals. We’ve had birds, zebra, waterbuck and wildebeest. Just fewer than usual and also no giraffe at all.

I agree— if paying for a Savannah view… should be animals. This person had no animals.

Found out they changed the sod and the giraffes aren’t used to it yet so they are on the other savannahs.

Came back to the room at 9:30pm and mouse keeping never came. Yikes.
Day at epic was good. Rode hiccups, monsters and saw untrainable dragon. Walked the Ministry queue. Ate at Atlantic. Kinda meh. The seabass was salty. Definitely not as good as Narcoossee’s or boathouse. Had icecream that was also not something I’d get again. The mac and cheese cone in Burks was really good, best thing of the day. And of course a classic butterbeer.

Such a pretty cocktail! I have a photo of a cocktail I had here at home in a coupe like this one and I swear it was so good just because it was so pretty!
