Our 3 night trip is now a week away! I planned this trip last minute. Only a month or so of planning and our plans already changed 2 days ago when I scored preview tickets to Epic.
Who: My dad who hasn’t been to the World in almost 30 years & me who goes 1-2x a year since 2018.
When: May 11-14
Where: Staying club level Savannah view at AKL. All 4 parks (just a taste of each park), Discovery cove & epic.
What:
Day 1: Flying early with Frontier. Bought the stretch seats with no one between us so we have a comfortable flight. Resting at AKL and then heading to Epcot.
Day 2: Morning and early afternoon lazy day at Discovery Cove. I got us day beds. Then we have early dinner at AKL club. Going to HS for galaxys edge only and then heading to MK for HEA & MK AH.
Day 3: Sleeping in if necessary and this is our Epic day.
Day 4: Leaving our bags at bell services and heading to AK until the afternoon. We fly back on frontier in the evening.
How: I booked a portable scooter with Gold Mobility for my dad. Normally I use buena vista but their pick up times just didn’t work for our schedule. We will only need to break the scooter down for our epic day Ubers otherwise we will use bus transportation.
Meals are being left up in the air. We will utilize the club as much as possible. I would like to get a drink at enchanted rose and Narcoossee’s. I would also like to fit in boathouse, Nomad lounge and Satuli canteen. I have an Atlantic reservation for Epic.

It’s amazing how no two trips are alike! You would think touring plans would stay the same but they are always different and the actual trip itself is always different from the plan lol

I purchased a couple ILL this morning. I got GOTG for our first day around 5pm and ROTR our 2nd day around 6pm. I’m still kicking around if I want to buy ILL for FOP on our last day &/or LL multi pass. It would be around $60 for the 2 of us. I might just do FOP and wait for day of to see what the weather and crowds are like. Good plan?? I hate waiting in lines and AK is a park I like to relax in so maybe I should just continue to splurge and buy it all???

I think for a short trip with only two travelers, one of whom hasn’t been in a very long time and likely won’t go again for at least a handful of years LLMP is worth the splurge
If it was just you I’d say hard pass at AK for sure, and probably in general. You go often enough to wait in a line now and again.

Went ahead and got all of the LL for AK. So basically all rides are taken care of except doing standby for Soarin, LWL, SE at Epcot & whatever we ride at epic.

Yes
I watched one over the weekend where a mom of two small girls was packing for herself, her husband, and the two girls hoping to get it all into Spirit-approved personal items bags. She did it!

I was going to just do personal items but now we are sharing one carry on.
