What you are suggesting would involve either a fifth gate or…where? There is no place else to go. RoA had to go to expand at MK.

Agreed. We hadn’t even been to the island in years tho we used to be frequent visitors. I’ve never even seen the Double Dumbo area tho at one time we’d double time from the Contemporary to be in the first Dumbo group so we could get back in line to ride again without a 30 minute wait. My experiences have changed over the years as I expect everyones’ does.
If these lands are to be similar to DL’s Cars and Grizzly, they might feel cooler cuz of the falling water but they will feel peopley.
Disney can’t think of opening a 5th park - they’ve not got the labor pool for it. Probably a big reason for all the DVC new properties. Morec butts in beds with less housekeeping.
Shame they don’t look around at who’s camping these days and how much those Class A’s go for. A campground is really packing 'em in with little outlay.
Maybe if we’re at WDW again at the same time we’ll do a quiet couple hours together painting a picture at one of the resorts.

I was waiting for Tom Bricker’s photos @ Disney Tourist Blog. His images are light years better than what others are posting from their phones on the fly. I’m excited for Piston Peak! I love the way it’s looking on the model.

This is going to be frickin’ awesome! 
I love everything about this, but one thing I notice is that the water continues along most of the path between BTMRR > HM. A narrower channel of swiftly rushing water is much more useful than a vast expanse of still water as far as cooling the air and adding kineticism. This is a fair trade, IMO.
Walking down the Frontierland path and seeing the cars from the ride riding along the riverside will be so fun.
And the northwest woodlands park vibe is one of my favorite aesthetics. I’m so stoked for this.
The one thing I’m worried about is how thrilling and / or reliable the ride will be. It’s apparently a brand new ride system. To make it reliable they may have to sacrifice thrill. We’ll see.

Yes, but it’s a lot of space for attractions that few guests were using. I remember waiting in long Iines to board the Liberty Belle and back then the boat was regularly packed. It’s nearly empty now every time I look at it. I haven’t been on it in over 35 years and my kids had zero interest.

I am still skeptical of a land in MK devoted solely to one franchise, but I think the Piston Peak model looks great.

When I saw the cast for this in the preview I immediately lost interest. Even the acting portrayed in the preview felt very…not Star Wars. I hope it is better than the preview hints at.
