Crowd estimates…for memorial day weekend…srsly?

If they’re doing that they need to change the the system so you only prebook 1 ride and the rest day of which always how I thought it should be done.

A whole bunch of new availability seems to have been released about 3 days later.

I think they limit availability so they can adjust for crowd/staffing/down time

I’m about ready to put out water park day on our first full day (not arrival) to push the other days out. It was supposed to be mid-trip.

So you suggest just booking the parks on your original planned days and keep checking back.

Suddenly 8 days out looks great across all parks.

That’s great news! How many days out are you right now? Did the availability suddenly change today?

Oh, ok. I’ve been doing the same thing for my daughter. Her arrival date is June 10, (booking day June 3). Not to be a Debbie-downer here, but I suspect that Saturdays are the busiest booking days. So, since today is a Friday, it may be that the availability that we are seeing today at 8 days out might be gone after tomorrow morning @ 7AM. Just a thought. I hope I am wrong! :crossed_fingers:

I wanted to follow up with you…

My daughter had her booking day today for her short-stay arrival on Wednesday 6/10/26. Her is her itinerary:

  • Day 7: Wed 6/10 HS (Afternoon > Close)
  • Day 8: Thur 6/11 Epcot (Full Day EE > Close w/ mid-day break)
  • Day 9: Fri 6/12 AK (Morning > Afternoon)
  • Day 10: Sat 6/13 MK (Mid morning> Close)

For Days 9 (AK) and 10 (MK), I was able to book all of her LLMP’s and LLSP’s pretty much at the RT’s I wanted. (NRJ was a little later than I wanted but not too much. I just switched the order and put FOP before NRJ.)

For Day 7 (HS), I was looking for RT’s in the afternoon/evening, which was fortunate, because there was not good morning availability for the LL’s I wanted. I booked RnRC for 1PM, and TOT and TSM for times that are way too late for me. She will have to rely on drops to move TOT and TSM RT’s earlier and to pick up SDD and MFSR. I booked RotR for an evening time, so I did not have trouble getting the RT I was looking for. I am hoping she will be able to pick up MMRR at one of her Tap-ins for some point in the evening.

Day 8 (Epcot) was our biggest challenge. She is going to have to do Future World in the afternoon, which is what I expected. What I did not expect was that somewhere between midnight last night and 6AM this morning, the first FEA RT went from 10AM to 12:30PM! That blew my plan. The good news is that I did not realize that many of the World Showcase pavilions now open at 9AM. She is going to ride Remy S/B during EE, visit some pavilions and have an early lunch. Then she will head down to FEA for her first LL @ 12:40PM. At Tap-in, I am hoping she can catch the 12:47 drop for TT with a RT in the early afternoon. She booked GotG for 1:30PM, SE for 2PM, and Soarin’ for 2:30PM. Hopefully, she will catch a RT for LwtL around 2:30ish. They are skipping MS. Then they will have a break at the resort and return for a 6:20PM dinner at Teppan Edo, followed by Impressions of France and Luminous.

So, not great, but not terrible. Fortunately, I had lowered my expectations based on watching RT’s for the past few weeks. Biggest challenges will be whatever your Days 7 and 8 are. I wanted her to schedule AK on Day 7, but they are not arriving in Orlando until lunchtime, and they wanted to visit AK in the morning. They are staying at the Swan, so HS will be convenient.

Good luck to you! Please keep me posted on your experience.

Thanks for the update. We are not doing anything arrival day. Doing MK Day 8 and that’s my big concern. I’m surprised about the Tier 2 at EP being tough.
