Am I missing something? WDW Crowd Calendar is showing Friday 4th July being quiet, but rammed on the Monday 7th which isn’t a public holiday?
The weekend of Independence Day is surely going to be busy across all the parks?

When I was there in 2023 it was amazingly low crowds. No one knew why.

Actual CL’s for 7/4 last year were low. CL 2-3 except 7 at EP. That entire time period was low as well.
Thrilldata shows avg posted waits for 7/4/24 as very low as well.
Guess July 4th just isn’t a very popular time to go to WDW.

I have been seeing this as well! I almost pulled the trigger on a 4th of July visit for a few years. But I always end up finding a reason to visit in May and it’s just too close, lol.
One day! The crowds are surprisingly low. It’s hot out but that’s what midday breaks and pools are for!

I can’t really comment on why the CL7 on 7/7? But we’ve been to WDW over the 4th of July the past two years now. Crowds are honestly manageable (except for Main Street fireworks on 7/3 and 7/4). Both years we watched MK fireworks on 7/3 and Epcot on 7/4. (Epcot has a special patriotic fireworks show which sometimes does not appear on the official calendar until close to the date). It’s very good!
I will warn you though, in 2023, the heat and humidity did not bother us much. In 2024, it was life-sucking and dreadful. After that, I decided “Never again!” We had no choice in the past few years because of scheduling conflicts. This year, we are going in April to avoid the worst of the heat and humidity.
