I highly doubt it.
I am no longer doing MK on the 22nd but I highly doubt it will be a 2. Epcot is closing at 5pm so I definitely think that will drive crowds to MK that is open late.
I did submit a ticket to Touring Plans but never heard back.
Thanks for the feedback. Definitely seems too good to be true!
I was looking to make dinner reservations at EPCOT for next week and the 22nd had an X over it on the calendar on MDE.
Yep! I was trying to make a 4pm but no can do! They must want everyone absolutely out of the park. I’m looking forward to low crowds but I hope the food booths don’t wrap up much before 5. It’s the Gartner Symposium renting it out.
I am wondering about Monday October 20, 2025. Currently the CL for MK is a 4/10. Earlier in the year, it was at a 7/10 with hours of 9a-11p. I am wondering if their algorithm saw that there were no Halloween parties for days from Oct 20-22 which meant that MK crowds were spread out those 3 days so the Monday was set at 4. However, at some point recently, Disney changed the hours for Tuesday Oct 21 2025 to 9a-6p with some corporate party that night (effectively a private Halloween), which means that I would think that the day before and after would be higher crowds. Wednesday Oct 22 (non party) is currently a 7/10. But Monday Oct 20 is at a 4/10. That seems wrong. I would think people would want to avoid early closure of MK and therefore would fill up Monday Oct 22 as well. Is the 4 supposed to be a 7 as well? Or can anyone tell me why Monday Oct 22 2025 is set to CL 4?
I think your logic is accurate. I would just do what works for your schedule. I think there might be a Monday lull if I remember but I would definitely prepare for bigger crowds on any non-party night.
I will say that our day in Epcot last year was like a ghost town and it was amazing. If you can swing MK on that early close day it will be amazing.
what is the context for this?
Sorry I think it was from 2024. Last fall Gartner bought out Epcot so it closed at 5pm. This year they have bought out MK and it closes at 6pm. These will probably be some of the lightest days of the year if you can stomach losing the evening show or hop somewhere else!
