Construction at Polynesian until 2026?

Hi. On the Disney website it says construction until 2026 at the Polynesian. Does anyone know what they’re doing? If you’ve stayed in the new Tower, what construction can you see still going on? Thanks

Welcome! I’m not sure. There is a thread regarding the new Poly tower. Maybe pop in there and ask. I haven’t kept up with that one lately.

I think it’s work at the entrance to the resort.

I guess you’d see it if your room faces away from the lake, more so on the east side of the Tower.

I think there is / will also be work happening to widen the main road running in front of the Poly and GF. Not sure of timescale of that.

They were also doing work on some of the bungalows when we were there. I think it was very small chunks at a time so if they went really slow then it would probably extend into 2026.

I recall seeing something about how they were moving the bus stop so that it will be closer to the tower. I’m sorry I can’t find the article or post.
