Random question - Do they let you wear knit caps on roller coasters? Jackets/coats? I’m assuming baseball caps are a no, but what about a beanie type hat?
Jackets and coasts should be ok if not worn in a way that could be construed as a “loose item.” i.e., not wrapped around your waist, physically worn on your torso. The bulkier a coat is the higher the risk they will ask you to remove it, but they should flag it when you’re at the metal detectors if it’s going to be an issue so you won’t lose much time.
A beanie that is tight fitting honestly could pass, IMO. Just depends on the TM. But I would leave it in the locker unless it’s freezing.
Interestingly, glasses are allowed on the roller coasters, even without a strap.
I always wear a pullover hoodie. IMHO - The lack of zippers and an attached hood make it so they don’t care. They probably don’t care about zippers either, but I loathe going into the queue and being stopped for extra screening at the rides that have metal detectors. ![]()
Thanks all!
