Today I was asked by a co-worker about ticket deals for this Christmas. They are looking at going this Christmas and are just now starting to plan it. I informed him that it is going to be expensive, crowded, and may be hard to get accommodations. He then asked about possibly going to Epic, and I had to tell him that it was booked.
It is funny that some people still think Christmas would be a slow time to go.
Wow, although I have been known to set up a trip to WDW in less than 30 days. But, I’ve been before and know what to expect.
My standard response, to this type of question, is to move it back a year and buy a copy of the Unofficial Guide.
This are plenty of accommodations but they are spendy starting the 26th. There are some specials before that. Handling Christmas crowds with no planning is ![]()

Exactly 30 days until Christmas, and now they are starting to plan? Oh that’s not good at all. Can of sardines. Black Friday before the pandemic. A Beatles concert in the 60s. It’s tough to get around. It’s doable, if you know what you’re doing, and a first timer will not know what to do.
He came to his senses and decided not to go to WDW this year.
