Hi there. Does anyone know when WDW will be doing the taping for the Christmas Day special? We are wanting to go in early to mid November and actually don’t want to go when they are doing the tapings. I assume that parks will be more crowded as they tape in all the parks now. Thanks 
in 2017 they did the taping the week of the 5th, specifically the 6th-8th (M-W). The entire hub was PACKED, the area around the castle was closed or limited access, and the program stage was up the whole time. It was awful and I will never do it again.

I was there that week in 2017, but I got the dates/locations of the tapings ahead of time and avoided those parks on those days, and it was fine. Crowds elsewhere seemed normal.
