Has anyone received the email from universal stating Xmas activities don’t start until DEC 6th that’s our last day in Florida and we will not see any Xmas stuff at IOA or US
Yes I got that email as well. We were there in late November 2011 (Thanksgiving), and the Seuss area was already decorated with holiday décor and there was a large Christmas tree in Universal Studios. So you will see décor, just none of the special holiday activities will have started. Here’s Seuss Landing
We were there in nov 2012 and we saw the grinch Xmas play and there were whoville charactors all over and other things , I’m just miffed because we arranged a night at loews on 28th nov to see more and now it might not matter.OK rant over
I’m looking at my park maps going back to 2007, and Grinchmas/Macy’s consistently starts the weekend after Thanksgiving, around Dec 7.
Thanks skubersky I’ve looked back at our dates from 2012 and we left Florida on dec 8th so we must have just seen them on our last couple of nights
