The app sat on the “select your party” screen for a long time before the join button was able to be selected.

I’ve noticed that happening sporadically in the past - not sure if it made a difference, but I got BG1 in November by allowing the app to “pre-load” my party ahead of time:

Just got back from a trip - may or may not decide to write a trip report later. Wanted to share our success with ROTR - we did HS twice: 11/22 - got BG 20 the first time, second HS day 11/27 - BG 1 , both from WBC (Wyndham Bonnet Creek) wifi.
