Checking Every Day?

Yippe. I really want to try the lobster booth.

This is wild. Attendance was so low at HS today and ROTR running so well that they got through all the groups. And starting at 7pm it was WALK ON. :scream:

I guess this doesn’t tell us too much about the future given today was low attendance, however, it is a good sign that at least on one random day they are able to meet demand!

My question is, how did people know it was a walk on? It’s not like you can tell from walking past. I wouldn’t even think to look at a sign if I didn’t get a BG

Good question!

Buffets are coming back soon starting with Boma

And may Crystal Palace in September

Darn I was hoping they would keep family style. It’s one of the reasons we always preferred Garden Grill over other character meals.

Kinda agree, I gotta say cp going back to buffet will likely have me cancel my reservation

But the family style itself I didn’t like. It was awful being witness to that much food wasted. Though on the flip side of that, it was really nice knowing random people weren’t pawing your food before you got to it. My mind just flashed back to a trip to boma where someone … was… let’s just say “less than sanitary” :face_vomiting::face_vomiting::face_vomiting:

I’m hoping that there will be plexiglass up and you tell the cast member which foods you want instead of everyone touching it. I did go to a brunch recently here in Jersey and I was shocked people weren’t even putting on their masks when they walked up to the buffet……

Even if covid wasn’t a thing, that’s just f’n disgusting!

And the characters at CP???

Wow. Yuk. I even pull my arm up when I cough or sneeze if I’m wearing a mask out of habit. Maybe the masks got people out of the habit of using their arm because they were used to having a mask? Nah. They were probably just always gross.

I have a family of 5 and I’m the only female. The only food that went to waste was the food we didn’t like, which wasn’t much. Although I think the desserts had a lot more left over. I kind of wish they did single serving for that, as we stuffed ourselves with the rest.

I am just putting this here

I hope it comes to be but
rumor: “may return” could be said about almost everything, couldn’t it?

This has been my hell for the past 17 years. Ever since I met my germaphobe.

Food waiting to be picked up sitting on an open counter near the lines within sneezing/coughing distance of every Tom, Dick and Harry, the amount of nose digging/face touching and subsequent touching of every handrail/seatbelt, the amount of people who use the restrooms then leave without washing…the list goes on and on. All of those things, then handshaking… :shiver:

I hate that it took a global pandemic to bring all of these under a spotlight, but even if a few people start to rethink personal habits then that’s the golden lining I take away from it.

Anyone on Twitter that does not follow the Universal account should reconsider
