I’m extremely bummed about Splash Mountain. One of the main points of this trip was to ride this one last time. We’ve often gone during Mardi Gras because the kids were out of school for the whole week. Splash was often closed or it was too cold. I’ve only been able to ride a handful of times and yet I loved it!

Your in-laws are clearly way different (cooler) than my inlaws. No way they would ride a ride like RNRC at 80 years old. Nor would my Mom.

My in laws are only in their early 60s. Even for their relative young age, they are young at heart and game to try anything.

Even in their 60’s my parents and in-laws would have been a big no. I’m not sure my parents ever rode roller coasters, I certainly don’t remember it when they took us to Disney/Knotts/Busch Gardens. They just waited for my brother and me while we rode.

My parents have always done all the coasters. They were 66 and 71 on their last WDW trip with us in 2019 and rode everything. I’m not sure if they would do VC if they went now but I wouldn’t be surprised if they did.

My grandparents took us to WDW, Busch Gardens, Sea World and different 6 Flags. Gramps did almost every coaster with us. Granny watched. He was probably in his 60s. People seemed suprised he was riding and not just escorting my sis and me through the line

But no specific date given.

Wait, what?! I haven’t been near 1900 Park Fare since 2006. Were they still the Mary Poppins characters plus Alice in Wonderland? Up until the pandemic, I mean. Aladdin seems… incongruous at first glance.
