Change to Everest Single Rider

I just saw this:

“Because odd-numbered groups are now pre-sorted in the red room, cast members already have a ready supply of individual guests to fill gaps in ride vehicles. That reduces how often the single rider queue gets called forward, so wait times through that line are noticeably longer than they used to be.”

That is good to know. Usually the line moves pretty fast for standby, so maybe it’s better not to do SR unless it’s really long.

RIP Everest Single Rider. You will be greatly missed.

They’re taking the boarding process from Guardians. That’s cool that the queue math is working for that, but it does hurt single rider.

Today on the Disney Dish Len said, “ “they’re loading odd numbered groups and even numbered groups and got rid of the single rider line for that.”

Has anyone been there in the last week? The linked blog post said there was still a single rider line. Is it gone?

@rickelwoman confirmed on chat that there is still a single rider line but it did not open today until about 8:30 (30 minutes after opening official park opening).
