I’ve heard rumblings of there being bad cell phone signal at WDW. Is it certain areas (parks, resorts) or is it pretty much all over or is it certain wireless providers (Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T) that have the bad signal? I’m an AT&T customer.
I’ve never had an issue, but it does vary a lot between phone models too. My Galaxy S8+ gets a signal in lots of places where DH’s Sony doesn’t. His iPhone was even worse, both for calls and wifi. Here is an interesting report on the subject, if you’re so inclined. 
I have Verizon and can tell you service is terrible. Disney has free WiFi but I find it very spotty
AT&T is the official wireless provider of WDW, and as such they expanded coverage throughout the world several years ago. I’ve since moved to T-Mobile and have found a few spots without coverage, but WiFi has been fine.
