We are thinking of adding on a few days after our Disneyland trip to go to Catalina Island. Any tips on hotels, restaurants, or activities? Family of 4 - two teen boys and two adults. TIA!
Sit in the very middle of the ferry boat, lay down, and hope you don’t throw up!
Oh, wait. Maybe not the advice you mean. I haven’t been to Catalina Island since I was like 12, but I do remember getting sea sick on the ferry. If anyone is prone to any kind of motion sickness, consider an antiemetic such as Dramamine!
If you are going in the summer, I recommend doing some snorkeling at Casino point. All the hotels I’ve stayed are quite old. I don’t know that I could even recommend them. Sometimes you’ll see a ferry/hotel package.
