We are going to do Disney After Hours at the Magic Kingdom on Dec. 9th, my question is are you allowed to ride the attractions between the 9pm park close and the 10pm after hours event start? I realize that a lot of the attractions will still have day guests in line, so can you just join the line? If there are no day guests in line, do they close the attraction for the hour between?
Yes you can. We avoided the longer lines and started with Jungle Cruise. Actually, I think you can start at 7?
Absolutely. They will ask to see your wristband even though the party hasn’t started yet. If HEA is during that hour I highly recommend being on BTMRR during the fireworks.
I had the same question for the Nov 18 event (park close at 9, DAH starts at 10). Someone told me that they’d likely change the close time to 10, which is what happened. It may also happen for your date, since the Dec hours haven’t been updated yet.
