Can’t check in

Today is my check-in date for my upcoming cruise. I have been trying to do check-in starting at midnight for over an hour and a half and all the site does is either spin the circle or goes back to the main page. I’m tired and beyond cranky.:enraged_face:. I started entering the information then the page will keep freezing.

Ugh, really sorry to hear that. I had a similar experience back in April when my booking window for activities opened. It’s so frustrating and I can’t believe that Disney can’t find a better solution to this problem when so many guests are having this awful experience.

I have no advice, just a sympathetic heart.

Thank you. I really do appreciate that. Was finally able to do my online check-in all the way through at 6 o’clock this morning. I understand about system updates, but they shouldn’t be started at midnight when people are trying to do online check-in. I can see doing it at like three or four in the morning, but it is what it is.

On my first Disney cruise I learned that glitches during check-in happen. A lot. You can check in via the web or the app and oftentimes one will work when the other doesn’t. And which one works will be different for different people. It’s beyond frustrating. Good luck and hang in there.

Bah I am sorry you got hit with issues with your check in. Whatever it is that results in the issues, it happens way more than it should and it’s insane they can’t figure it out.

I’ve had more ok check-ins than not, but my first one was a nightmare. I’ve had a couple of Royal Gatherings that were stressful too.

You did catch on to the best solution possible when it hits, just go to bed and try again the next morning. I learned my first cruise in my nightmare scenario that those five hours of facing off with the spinny wheel are not worth it. The next morning the port arrival times will be 30 or so minutes out from the time they started out that were theoretically possible to get right at 12am ET.
