Can my 12 yr old go with queue with us but not ride

I have a 12 yo that doesn’t do the big thrill rides but a 10 yo that will do everything. For rides like Tower of Terror, EE, RoR, etc. can he go through the queue with us and then wait in child swap area or be able to go to exit and wait for us?

Yes he can use the chicken exit.

Exactly, the shame is an essential part of the experience.
