We are doing a split stay and will receive 2 sets of magic bands. Our friends are joining us but are staying offsite. Can they use our extra set or are magic bands permanently linked to our account?
Use them in what way? The bands only link to the tickets and FPP’s listed in your account. They couldn’t for example use your magic bands to enter the park with you as it would think the same person was trying to enter twice.
If you mean can they take one of your bands and link it to their own account and tickets I do not think so. They are already associated to your account when you receive them and as far as I’m aware there is no way to re-assign a magic band.

Yes, I meant link them to their account. I didn’t think it would be possible but I thought I would ask. They are planing to buy them regardless so I was hoping I might be able to recycle our extra set.
