California Grill and Dining Credits

4 days to our trip and our first night (adults only) is to be spent at California Grill. We are on the dining plan so I’m wondering how it all works - I know it’s 2 credits as a Signature restaurant but is sushi considered an entree? Can an appetizer be substituted for a dessert? Could sushi be considered a dessert? Any help is appreciated.

They give you all your credits on your first day. You will have 4 credits for everyone on your hotel reservation. If you use two the first night you can skip a table service one day, or split a table service meal another day- it is up to you how you use those 4 credits.

I believe the rules say you can trade a dessert for a side but not an appetizer. You would have to pay for the appetizer.
