Taking my sister to California Grill for her birthday in Nov. Should I order a birthday cake from the bakery to be sent to the restaurant, or would the in house desserts be tastier/more delightful? We’ve never eaten there before, and it’s the start of our trip so I want to kick off on a good note. TIA!
The birthday cakes you can order from Disney are nowhere near as good as pretty much any TS dessert option! Both times we’ve gotten one it was dry and had gross fondant, not frosting.
Also, if you tell them you’re celebrating a birthday they’ll decorate whatever dessert you order, too.
