How frequently do the buses usually run between Hard Rock and City Walk. Last night we waited about half an hour no bus showed up. We didn’t want to take the boat.
I don’t know the answer to your exact question but unless you need for mobility issues, a bus to/from HRH will not be a timesaver or particularly helpful. It is only about a 5 minute walk along the garden path to get to/from entrance at Universal Studios side. You’d have to walk just as far to make it through citywalk for bus stop location.

I didn’t even know there were buses! Although we did take the boats occasionally
