I know that reservations are strongly recommended for the T-Rex restaurant, but are reservations necessary to Build-A-Dino (like Build-a-Bear) at Disney Springs?

No, reservations not necessary when we went in January 2022 and built a camouflage t-Rex stuffy (and not sure where that would be reserved). We went at night around dinner time. There was a giant line to get into the restaurant that formed more or less to the left side as the restaurant is on the left side of the entrance and the store is on the right. We just scooted around the line on the right and entered the store. There was maybe one other guest building a Dino so didn’t really have to wait for help or for a staff member to finish stuffing and sewing up our new friend.
