i see that southwest will release dates on may 14th. what time of day do they usually open up? i never fly southwest anymore. also, for ppl in houston, what is a “good” fare on southwest?
The last time I tried to book on “opening day” the schedule became available sometime between 6:00 and 6:15 Eastern.
the way I figured what a good price from my airport was, was to regularly check flight prices for the dates that were released, so now through end of oct. for example, in Milwaukee, the flights til then don’t dip below $126 each way so I know that’s the lowest price I will probably get. (except for a rare $99 flight which usually leaves at 8pm)
