Is the 11-month / 7-month window based solely on the months, or do the number of days matter? In other words, not all months have the same number of days. So, does the booking window open on the same calendar day of the month as your day of arrival, regardless of the number of days? Does the booking window open for your entire stay at that time, or do you have to book day-by-day?

Booking opens on the same calendar date.
So for a trip starting Aug 9th you can book on Sept 9th or Jan 9th.
If your stay starts on Jan 30th however, you need to wait until March 1st.
You can book for 7 nights. To extend you can add on the 8th night the following day, or wait and add on a block.
