If you are flying out of terminal C (JetBlue ) I have never seen a long line. I went through TSA at 1:30pm and my sister and niece went through the regular line and it only took them about 5 minutes extra.
For me it’s too big, but everyone has their tolerance levels for packing extra stuff.
