I have a friend who hasnt been able to get a lunch ressie for BOG for her trip in dec. She wants to know what the wait is like for a walk up lunch at BOG. I have never done this before so figured I’d ask my fellow liners.

Generally speaking, there are no walk ups. She may get lucky, but she shouldn’t pin her hopes on it.
Have your friend sign up for the Touring Plans Reservation Finder. . It is free and most likely she will get the reservation, even if it is last minute.
