I had heard that personal watercraft rentals were suspended. I this true. Will be arriving August 10!

I would call and ask. Yes it is true but I don’t know if they have started up again.
Fairly certain I’ve seen that all boats are now back to being open for rental. I think initially the real small ones were still disallowed but they’re back now as well.
There’s a 6/24 blog entry for it at TouringPlans which says: “Also, the marinas at the hotels are now offering boat rentals for all Guests, including Sammy Duvall’s Watersports, who will be offering activities from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.”
