I’m not here on the forums very often, so please forgive me if these have been shared before.
I’m not in a room. I was told that the new rooms were only soft opening (whatever that means for a hotel room).
Thank you for posting! Have a great trip!
Thank you! I am now very curious what the rooms look like. Hope you are having a great trip!
Really hope they changed the layout of these rooms. I have 2 booked in the beginning of February but have no idea if any are supposed to be ready by then.
Changed the layout in what way?
And are you referring to studios, living room of larger villas or something else?

There are also pics up on the DVC forum of the DIS.
There are photos posted on DVC Fan
I LOVE it!
This shows the 1 and 2 bedroom. Have there been any photos of updated studios yet?
I do like the look. I would argue it is generic, but a very lovely generic.
Love the Mary Blair style artwork.
The dark green tile work is dubious, and not sure what’s up with the two tones of wood. Usual lack of storage in the living room for 3 people. I hope the hall closet is still there. The dining table isn’t big enough for 5, let alone 9 people.
Still annoyed at the removal of the sleeper chair. A 1-bed really doesn’t sleep 5 adults anymore and that makes me mad. I’ll be letting DVC know my feelings as a Bay Lake owner.
I count 5. Why do you say it doesn’t?
At least in the photos, the smaller pull down still looks like the longer one that fits an adult.
Yes, on the DIS.
Because those pull-downs just don’t look strong enough to have an adult on them. Remember Riviera where they literally fell off the wall?
IIRC, it was entirely an installation error at Riviera. So I don’t think that is a good way to judge.
I would like to see actual dimensions of the bed, though, because photos can be deceiving.

I just know my 6ft DS could stretch out and roll over fine on the sleeper chair.
Not so sure that’s the case of any of the twin pull-downs. I think the biggest are 5ft 7in IIRC.
would argue it is generic
Hardly!
It incorporates Mary Blair-inspired art as well as monorail artwork.
It’s bright and vibrant, and at the same time, subtle.

A king plus a Queen Murphy plus a twin Murphy is 5
Remember Riviera where they literally fell off the wall?
That was the queen murphy IIRC
