Best option for fitting in Peter Pan with no Early Entry

Headed to MK for Crowd Level 2 day on Sunday, Dec 14. Part of our group is off property so does not have early entry and can only make LLMP selections 3 days in advance. We have an 18th month old in our group so we really want to hit the rides with no height requirement and will also do some rider swaps. Luckily we do have 2 days in MK but every sample plan I find says to start in Adventureland at RD since we do not have early entry. We will definitely start in Adventureland on our second morning but how would you go about fitting in PP and Pooh and all of that when it will probably be impossible to get a 9am LLMP for PP just 3 days out for our group of 7. Would you just head straight to PP and wait in the standby? I keep looking at RTs and it’s ususally a 35 min wait right at 9am. We were also just notified that park opening is now 8am all that week so maybe that will help. I do not know why this is stressing me out so much lol! Thank you!

If PP is a priority I would get in line at park opening. At least it will be a reasonable wait.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. I appreciate the confirmation;)

I agree - it is usually not too bad even right after EE. I would ride then if it’s a priority.

Now that Early Entry (EE) is a thing, you are unable to experience the classic advantages of Rope Dropping (RD). There are just to many people already ahead of you at park opening.

However it looks like the Crowd Level 2 (CL2) is working in your favor:

The wait time is estimated to build to around 12 min during the EE period and then continues to climb to 36 by noon and then remain steady. Pushing to later in the day would be of no advantage, and the 14 min isn’t terrible if your party plans to take in the storyline of the extended queue.

If you can get a Lightning Lane (LL) you can shave 12 min off of your wait time at the expense of bypassing the extended queue.

Yes, that should help. I’ve only been in MK with 8:00 am opening a coupe times, but the crowds seemed smaller between 8:00 and 9:00 am than the first hour on days when the park opens for regular guests at 9:00 am.

That’s what I would do in your situation.

Thank you all! Planning this trip has been something else and I really appreciate the confirmation that I’m on the right track.

The best part of PPF is the queue. Doing a LL means you miss that. I understand the time factor…but if you are going to skip the queue, you might as well skip the ride! (Hot take, I know…the caveat is if you have never done it, I suppose.)
