I’m wondering what everyone’s experience has been with different hotels during Princess Weekend. I’m considering Poly for 2025 and am wondering specifically about transport to the race. Is it buses or monorail? Generally speaking, what your favorite resort in each category?

My wife was looking at options this past weekend. What we found was that all monorail resorts only had monorail access to the race in previous years.

The bus trasnportation from the resorts as a whole is pretty good. When we did Princess two years ago we stayed at Pop. Pop is one of my favorite resorts for race weekends as they usally are FULL of runners and get plenty of bus service.
When we did Sping Surprise this past April, we stayed at Caribbean Beach and for the first two races, the buses were great. On the last race day, my bus stop which was last on the route that morning was passed by 3 full buses before they radioed for a bus to come directly to our stop. This delay contributed to us not being able to get the prerace photos we had hoped for. So, for Marathon Weekend in January we opted to book Port Orleans despite really enjoying CBR.
But overall, I think they do a really good job and I wouldn’t hesistate staying at any of the resorts if I really wanted to stay there.
BTW, I have no race weekend experence at monorail resorts to provide a bus or monorail answer but i would be confident with either mode of trasnportation.
