the train tour he is referring to is just the chance to get up close at the main street station. the behind the steam tour is much more than that. two different things.
It looks like the Magic Behind the Steam Train tour is still running according to Disney’s website. It shows that there is a 7:30 am tour each day except Fri and Sat.

Has anyone has tried to book it during the RR refurbishment?
There should be a train station at each land.
Right now it’s just up close and personal with no ride.
