Hi! I’m contemplating a trip in April 2024. I’ve read that the run Disney event is the weekend of the 18th-21st. Are there any other events in April I should be aware of such as cheer/sport/band events that might affect crowd levels at value resorts and the parks themselves? Thanks!

Thanks! All that is listed-other than evening After Hours at various parks-is the Run Disney event. If that is updated and accurate and there are not any cheer events in April, that helps my decision making process tremendously.

Cheer Worlds are at the tail end of April and do effect the Value resorts (mainly All Stars). They have a little impact on the crowds IME. I would think later in the evening vs during the morning/ day hours during events. Even though the event is over the weekend, girls start arriving Wed evening and Thursday to collect all the cheer swag (usually from Coronado). Many will stay on Monday and maybe even Tuesday for parks. Not as many as you would think though because of school. Friday and Sunday would have the biggest impacts. Friday no comp normally and Sunday because of elimination of Saturday. And one park closes early for the private event. I’m not sure about the past few years as DD has aged out but it had been HS for a little bit.
