App issues

I have started to work on some plans in the app and found a few issues. “Oh Toodles!” Err, I mean @len!!!

One minor thing, if you remove a LL that you had in the plan, the notification on the bottom of the screen says Fastpass instead. (Gotta mention those important thing first!)

Next, if you go to edit the details for a restaurant, and try to modify the time direction or arrival time window, it is unusable with no way to actually change the values selected.

And finally (so far), if you go to add a step, there are three options. First time, all three options display correct. If you then go and, say, add an attraction, then the NEXT time you go into Add step, the button for adding a break is missing the word Break.

I would prefer not to have to go into my computer to edit the meal time information, so that one is, to me, somewhat significant.

I should have mentioned this is running Android on a Google Pixel 8a phone.

I had the same issue. I fought it a little and ended up just deleting and adding it again.

I’ll add that if there are any options to select that I have to be scrolled all the way to the top to select anything. This isn’t possible with modifying meal times since they’re usually further down the list. So it might seem these are related.

I am also on Android.

A couple more issues.

One, if you do Evaluate, the meal item shows up as black.

Next, if you are scrolled down the listed if attractions, the button bar with Add Step, etc., is there, but you can’t actually click on any of the buttons unless you scroll all the way back up.

First screen I can’t click on the buttons. Second one screen I can!

@ryan1 Thanks for these. The “Fastpass removed” message is easy to fix.

Some questions about the restaurant time editing:

When editing the restaurant time, what’s the process by which the restaurant was added to the plan?

For example, was this plan created on the desktop and edited on the phone? Or was it created and added on the phone?

Does this happen when the initial restaurant step is created, or just when edited?

That’s also an issue on iPhone. I’ve alerted our developers. Thanks!

Adding a restaurant initially to the plan, no matter whether on the desktop or app, works fine. I can set the duration and flexibility. But it is later, in the app, when I want to adjust the details for the already-created step with the restaurant and then want to adjust the flexibility or duration where I can’t. I get the “pop-up” (slide-up?) at the bottom of the screen, but it is grayed out and if I try to select it, drag it, whatever, it just goes away. So unable to adjust anything.

Hope that explains things.

I found another issue last night. I’ll make a separate post shortly about it.

Can you walk me through how to reproduce this? I have a plan with one restaurant step and 10 other steps. I click the ‘Evaluate’ button. What do I do next?

Sorry, I realize now I wasn’t clear. I referenced the “Add Step” button, but used a screen with the “Done” button. The problem happens in either place. So, I’ll explain both scenarios.

In the case of the screenshots above, when I press Evaluate, I get the list of steps, and there is the button bar along the time (Cancel, Down, Up, Done). If I scroll down so that the message from optimizer is covered up (or just scroll down to the bottom of the list of steps), then if I tap on “Done”, it doesn’t do anything. It just lets me tap away. But if I scroll the screen back until I’m toward the top of the screen (in this case, so that I can see the “Message from Optimizer” and “Advanced Options”, I can tap on Done and it actually finishes.

Similarly, if I am on the main list of attractions (not inside Evaluate), there is a button bar (Optimize, Evaluate, Add Steps) where if I am scrolled down into the “Plan steps” section, if I tap “Add Steps”, it just, again, happily lets me tap without actually doing anything. But if I scroll back so that I can see the “Message from Optimizer”, I can tap “Add Steps” and it works.

(Side note…while reproducing this on my phone just now, I noticed another oddity. The slide-up with the buttons to “Add Attraction”, “Add Break”, etc, comes up fine. But if I tap the Cancel button, it didn’t respond at first. I had to tap on Cancel like three times before it let me cancel. This was the first time I noticed this…although, I don’t usually use Cancel.)

OK. I’ve got these captured. Please tag me in any other threads involving app issues - I’ll open tickets for them.

Thanks again!
