This looks like a great plan with a good mix of rope drop, midday breaks, and downtime. I’m sure you will both have a fantastic time! We will just miss you as we leave the morning of the 16th.

Awe, thank you! So excited for your trip and hope you have great weather! I hope our August folks do trip reports.

ONLY since you asked - the 2 RD’s at AK might be overdoing it. I would only do that if the goal is to ride FoP twice. There just aren’t enough headliners - especially on low crowd days that would require it. You will likely see everything you want to see on that first day at AK, and could reprioritize that early morning time of the 2nd day (with sleep if nothing else!). Looks like a great trip.

I considered not doing 2 RD and only spending the 1 full day at AK touring the whole park, but I decided to schedule the RD’s when I had a partial morning open up on our last day in Disney (I wasn’t able to get my ADR to Space 220 until the last day and I really didn’t want to spend another entire day at Epcot - sorry Epcot lovers).

The idea of riding Dinosaur 2x in a row (especially knowing it is leaving us soon), Everest 2x in a row, then Kali 2x in a row at the crack of dawn with little to no waits… really spoke to me.

I should clarify  I’m an Animal Kingdom lover who really likes to take it slow touring this park and soak in everything… ride everything… see every show… and eat anything that smells good (which is basically everything). So we stop a LOT. If I could have a little AK every morning of my trip, I would.

This looks fantastic! Doing it all but not killing yourselves trying!

Can I come??

Correct.

Yes! It was my goal to try to slowly cover everything… so this is reassuring!

I know I followed along closely to your recent trip report and got great ideas from your adventuring! I appreciated the pace you went at and all the unique things you were doing. I wish that the Pirates Lounge would be open, but other than that, I’m pretty happy.
