So you kept the existing email account but just wiped out all the reservations and re-added them? Just want to make sure I understand what you did.
Guest Services did it for me, but yes.
So I found the glitch! It’s so bizarre. It’s my email in the confirmation portion of making an ADR. It took multiple iterations of me trying different ways in both my MDE and my daughter’s brand new MDE to figure it out. I was actually able to make an ADR in MY account with MY credit card and MY billing address as long as I changed the confirmation email to something other than the one attached to my MDE account. What in the world?!?!?!
I just talked to tech support again to let them know what I found out. Hopefully this can help them fix the issue now that they know where it’s occurring.

I will update for sure! I’m trying to keep my expectations low for a full resolution but I’m feeling a little better knowing that I have a temporary work around and also that we should be able to use my daughter’s account for mobile ordering and LL while we are there!

I did another experiment and apparently my PREVIOUS email from years ago (but is still active just not on my account) is also flagged and does not work. My work email does work though.
So crazy. I’m still hoping they can resolve it. I don’t know much about IT but you would think they could go in and remove whatever restriction was placed on my account.

Do you do anything like my name+disney@email dot com with your address? I try to use the + at any site I can in general. However, there are some pages on Disney that will accept it and some won’t.

I thought that might be what was screwing yours up…but also worth a shot to see if it fixes it!
But just keep in mind that it’s inconsistently allowed on Disney sites! I just checked my MDE though and my “+ email” is stored there. I made ADRs there for our December trip, and I’m pretty sure I’ve had it set up like that before then, so I guess it worked. Hope it will for you!

The current issue is not fixed but I tried your hack and it worked. So crazy. I didn’t use the “+” but added some “.” at a couple different places in my email address and was able to make an ADR just fine!

Sent my VERY long, VERY detailed email to guest services yesterday. I had a record of every call, every chat and every email including the amount of time spent. It has totaled over 6 hours just in chats and phone calls. That doesn’t include all of the time I spent on my own. I’m keeping my expectations very low. To be honest, I’m not even expecting a reply. But if anything comes of it, I’ll let you know!
