Anyone done Vegas recently? Tips Tricks for "boomers"?

Haha, well I’ll only post stuff that might interest you!

We enjoyed the High Roller yesterday. It’s like the London Eye.

Hmm ok so cost of table works out to about $700 for us…

After subtracting what you - or someone, anyone, - would pay for a 1br for your length of stay?

Evolution.

It’s a thing.

We went to a restaurant last night with a rather adventurous menu (far more so than any at WDW). Sparrow + Wolf.

This was Something Something Artichokes Something. I found it too vinegar-forward. Some of the other dishes I liked better but nothing wowed me. It was fun to try though.

Our server was SO into the menu (or put on a good show anyway). We called him Stefon because his descriptions of the dishes were over the top. (Turned out his name was Nick, but he’ll always be Stefon to us.)

So Vegas can be super fun for the non-gambler. I was there a week in February for work and spent about 20 minutes at a table. Generally I think 3-4 days is long enough if you’re planning on partying and gambling only.

Having a car really lets you get out and enjoy some things. Getting out to the dam, canyon and red rocks will be awesome. Touring the beautiful casinos is always fun, and places like Bellagio, Cosmo, Wynn, Venetian and Caesar’s are really well done and something to see.

For food and entertainment, it’s hard to beat Vegas, unless you want to go cheap lol. I highly recommend the Beatles Love show. Really any one of the Cirque shows are great. Seeing the fountain show at Bellagio is pretty neat, and seeing it from the Eiffel Tower is awesome - just time your visit right. Eiffel Tower at dusk is nice too.
