Sounds wrong. There is no evidence of an early closure on Disney’s own calendar that day. Even AK has a closing time of 6 pm, not 5 pm.
There is a moonlight magic event at AK, but it is on 11/21 not 11/20.

Typically these early closings are for Cast Member or Corporate parties

Have done that more times than I care to admit
In fact, almost did it with this one, too!
It’s the one (IMO) downside to sorting by latest vs category but if you do it enough times you train yourself out of it
