These have been posted. You can find them on the DVC site for your home resorts. Or this link summarises them all:
Thank you!
WTF are we getting at OKW that we are up ANOTHER 6.5%?? Now up over $10/point. The largest dues increase of any DVC resort. Again.
Every time I look at those cabin dues I wonder if they are moving them next to an ocean.
Somebody already posted on chat, but Poly dues went DOWN? I maintain that they pulled some shenanigans to encourage sales.
No like. Supportive heart.
When is the full refurb of OKW due? I guess they are building up reserves to pay for it.
I could go along with this if these level increases were not every year
Full refurb was in 2018. Not sure what the schedule is but I don’t think we’re up any time soon
Yeah, the next one should be in the next couple of years but just a soft goods.
Oh wait, there was some issue recently with one building. Guests were moved to alternative rooms.
Maybe they found something which needs to be checked and fixed in all buildings.
Or maybe they hate the OG owners Probably figure those that bought in 100 years ago owe them something since they bought the property so cheap, so they’re shaking all of us down for it to make sure to make them pay
It penalises everyone though. ![]()
It was sort of tongue in cheek ![]()
Is it reasonable to assume that the annual dues will continue to be lower per point for those DVC’s that share property with Disney-owned resorts (i.e. Bay Lake Tower, Grand Floridian, Polynesian) than for a stand-alone DVC property such as the Riviera? In projecting these costs forward using an inflation factor, I wonder if that is a valid assumption?
Probably, yes. Unless there are new additions to those resorts that require expensive running costs.
I have a few new member questions about paying annual dues. I got my Annual Dues Statement that shows my prorated 2025 dues with a due date of 11/15/25.
- This covers calendar (not use) year 2025, correct?
- If I want to auto-pay with a credit card, I have to pay annually, right? So, when they process the payment, will I pay 2025 dues at the end of the year, or will I pay 2026 dues in advance?
- If in advance, can I skip auto-pay, and just pay with a credit card at the end of the year right before the due date?
- How do most of you handle paying your dues? Is there a “best strategy”?
Thanks!
Normally you would receive the notice of the dues on December 15 and have until January 15 to pay. I generally just pay with a credit card when I get the notice.
I collect discounted gift cards throughout the year and pay off my dues with gift cards, by contract.
So, are you saying that I will receive another notice this December to pay my 2026 Dues by 1/15/26 in addition to these 2025 prorated dues payable by 11/15/25? So, going forward then, you have to pay in advance?
Same!
