Annoying...can't book right now

Today is the day I’m supposed to be able to book my trip for next Nov. 30 through Dec. 4, but the website won’t let me. If you select Nov. 30 as the check-in date, it won’t allow you to select anything after that as the check-out date.

So, instead, I selected a date that is before Nov. 30, and select Nov. 29 to Nov. 30. When I do, I can get to the list of the resort availability, and then I can change my dates to select the proper range. But then it says I don’t have enough points to proceed. I do have enough, actually, but it does involves some point banking and borrowing. Or, if I manage to skip that, it says that the nights are no longer available…but they are!

So frustrating. I guess I’m waiting until 9 am now to book over the phone.

What is your use year?

Dec. 2025.

I have 31 points in my Dec. 2024 use year, 50 in Dec. 2025, and 50 in Dec. 2026.

I will use 28 points from Dec. 2024 use year to book Nov. 30, bank 3 of those points into 2025 and borrow the remainder I need to book the remaining three nights in Dec.

I also tried just pretending to book Nov. 30 ONLY. It also won’t let me.

I wonder if the system is goofing up thinking these are Dec 2023 points in which case it would not let you bank forward?

Thanks. Me, too. This is for our 30th Anniversary trip, so I’d be bummed if we can’t get what we want.

As of right now, there is full up availability showing still…so counting down the seconds until 9:00 am so that I can call.

I’m wondering if it has anything to do with December having 31 days and November only having 30… I’m trying to see why that might cause a problem though.

I’m thinking it’s more about crossing use-years, but I don’t know how that makes sense if you’re using points on hand for the one day

But if he can’t even book just the 30th?

Right that’s what I’m saying doesn’t make sense

But I think the system is glitching and stopping him because of the use year.

@ryan1 are you incognito? It would be important in trying to book 11/30 that you’re not stuck from cookies and leaving the system to see you were originally trying to book the full several days

Just tried using Firefox instead of Chrome, in case it was a browser issue…but same problem. So, it is definitely on their end.

What is also weird is that you can’t select Nov. 30 and then a date into December in the initial search page.

Phones open in 2 minutes.

I’m on the call now. But I think the system was just trying to use my Saratoga membership and was ignoring my Boardwalk contract. I’m guessing.

And…I’m booked.

A little added stress due to the website hiccups…but the CMs are always a joy to talk to, so I’m back in business.
