On my last two trips, one solo and one with my wife, I stayed at Wilderness Lodge. I discovered the chairs and tables by the water, past Geyser Point near the boat dock. A very relaxing spot to start the morning.
My wife and I have a trip upcoming at Animal Kingdom Lodge. A quiet little spots folks would recommend for morning coffee and journal time?
At Jambo House, just off the lobby, as you begin to head down the hallway to the right (past the little fire pit area) you’ll find there is a public balcony through some doors that you’ll find on your left. This is rarely in use, and offers a very tranquil spot with soft AKL music playing and clear views of the savanna. And? Rocking chairs.
If you have a savannah view, the balcony in your own room will be perfect!
If you’re willing to walk to Kidani, we also loved the QS breakfast at Sanaa: I’ve only been once but it was very quiet that day with many tables right at the window overlooking animal feeding spots. The crested cranes literally came up directly to our window and were inches from us. I would think you could grab a quiet corner there, and the coffee and breakfast were great.
