NOOOOO. just watched this and it was so great.
I get why they would close it. But it makes me a little sad. Have great memories with my kids here. My oldest was chosen from the audience once. We don’t miss it. I hope they replace it with something that is family friendly.

I loved it. Way better than that AK bird show.
Oh no! A month before our trip! ![]()
I know exactly where to sit to have the bird fly up to you and grab a dollar blil out of your hand! I wanted to see of I could make it happen again!!
It is kind of ironic that as I’m reaching an age where more and more I care more about the shows than the rides, we are seeing more and more of the shows going away. I’ve personally never seen Animal Actors, because we were usually filling our days with trying to get in the rides…but in the last few years, I’ve been experiencing shows I previously skipped.
I guess Animal Actors will be one I don’t get to see.
It’s pretty corny, but fun. It’s really meant for small kids and families. Plus, it helps get people out of the sun.
That theater occupies a big chunk of space behind Simpsons and near DreamWorks Land.
I wonder if this is in preperation for an overhaul of Springfield in a couple years?? ![]()
I remember on a mother daughter trip to Hollywood universal when my daughter was 11 which was like the last trip she was a true kid/mamas girl her laughing at this show so much and saying it was the best part of our day. Sad. Plus they fill with animal rescues. Who will rescue the animals now?
Yes, I have a photo of my oldest holding DH’s arm while grinning ear to ear watching the show. True joy from this show.
I don’t think I’ve seen a show since the 90s. Gotta see it again for nostalgia sake
I saw this show for the first time last year, and I was surprised to find it to be weakest of the three major shows. I usually love shows like this but this one just seemed to be missing something and I can’t quite put my finger on it… it was… fine.
It will be interesting to see what comes next.
My first thought when I saw the news broke (and commented it every chance I had) that this is step one in replacing Springfield and laying the groundwork for its successor.
Alicia says that Pokémon is almost guaranteed to be replacing the Lost Continent. I agree. However, I believe that the franchise has enough material to fill two completely different themed lands. If I’m correct, I can see the amphitheater becoming the local Gym, with various interactive games to complete in order to earn a Badge (much like the Bowser Junior Challenge)
