Just checked in to our DVC room for the next 6 nights. Not gonna lie, i feel like i got the worst room at the Poly. Absolutely hate my view.

To me it says, “Private” - which I would enjoy! I don’t have to see people going by and I can be on my balcony in peace. Plus, that foliage is early morning sun block so you can sleep past 5am!

I think why i dont like it is i love to just sit and people watch. Its one thing that helps to calm my PTSD. Like last year when we stayed at the Contemporary i would stand at the balcony in the hallway and just stare down at the store or the food court. Last nights room i could see the boat coming and going. Here i cant, all i see is this tree. I think thats why i dont like it.

Hopefully you don’t really mean that, lol. I prefer rooms with greenery views. The worst views are on the backside of the buildings, facing parking lots.

Was able tl get a room move. Got to move up a floor. Tree is still there but at least i can see around it now. Much better. Staff was very accomodating.
