Does the Alamo “Skip the Counter” Option still require you to visit the counter your first time? Budget “Fastbreak” does. Wondering if anyone has compared the speediness of these two companies–considering switching our rental reservation from Budget to Alamo.
No, I went directly to pick my car the first time I used it.

Easiest car hire process ever. Leave main airport, go to car parking area. Pick car. Get in car. Drive to barrier. Show driving licence. Drive to WDW.

Fortunately through Costco I was able to get almost the same rate on Alamo now (7 days out from my trip) as I did through Costco for Budget, booking 2 mo. ago.
