Our girls love Natives. They wear great and we didn’t really have any issues. It’s funny that Disney sells the heck out of Natives now. They are everywhere.
It’s the Last night we pulled out some Anna and Elsa. Wanted to make an EPCOT appearance but the rain took us out. So we just hung at the hotel. It has been fun. We leave tomorrow evening and I think I need to take a vacation when I get back to rest!
We always need a vacation to recuperate from a Disney trip
More beautiful outfits. Your girls are adorable
I scheduled my trip for Wednesday to Wednesday so I’ll have three days at home to recover before going back to work. I’m so worried it’s not enough recovery time. I hope you find a way to recuperate over the weekend!
Brilliant!
We made it back home last night. I may try to do a full trip report now that things have settled. Getting back home proved to be difficult. Forewarning for those in or travelling to Fla, Hurricane season may be a rough one. Things are starting early and rains are pretty nasty every day. Thunderstorms are common which means no Skyliner, no boats and no pools. We got lucky and really only ran into it the last night’s stay. But we had a 3:30pm flight yesterday that was stuck for 2 hours waiting on the rain to clear out. Lot of lightning. So just a heads up there. If you are leaning toward an EPCOT resort or POP, AoA, CBR, then you might want to think about this. Historically, we have travelled to Disney oftentimes in October, May, January, February and throw a December or two in there. So June/July heat is extra nasty and the convenience of the Skyliner from the Riviera kind of went away. We had to Uber around plans quite a bit. Yes, we could have bussed to a park but we had resort restaurant rez’s and to be honest, it is tough to deal with two strollers on a bus so we kind of avoid it like the plague. We had an absolutely amazing trip though. The girls loved it and of course were sad to go. 11 days was a good run for us and it felt like we had a vacation for sure. I know my thread turned into a bunch of kid pictures. That was kind of unintentional but that is a lot of our subject matter. If I can get my act together, I can go through a lot of the things we encountered. Every day something new was opening back up at WDW. Masks for employees went away like a day or two ago. So that was good to see. They were excited. Anyway, thanks for tagging along all my ramblings and kid pics. I will see what I can do with a real report later.
I didn’t realize this affected boats too ![]()
Sorry you had trouble getting home, way to rub in an already unhappy departure ![]()
Yeah, boats stop with the lightning. The monorail will still run pretty much anytime though. So it doesn’t affect the loop too much.
ok… not to go into the weeds but does the TTC Ferry to MK stop w/ lightening too?
Fixed. ![]()
To my knowledge, all boats stop when lightning is imminent.
Thank you for the great trip report! And the photos of your daughters having such a great time is the content we are here for!
I love seeing all the trip report photos of people having such a good time!
