AK Hours - confused

During our trip, AK hours are listed to close at either 7:00 or 7:30PM
On the days with 7:30 close, there is an 8:00 ROL listed…

Is the expectation that hours will be extended to later? The DW website shows that same hours - with ROL after ‘close’ When would it possibly be updated? We are going Oct 7-12
If AK will be staying open later I might consider adding Park Hopper to our tickets. 57 days out and I’m starting to go a little crazy wanting to finalize these plans! lol

This often happens with Fantasmic at HS, too. The rest of the park is closed, Fantasmic is the “grand finale” on those nights and then everyone from the show is ushered out after
